4-H Armstrong County Jr. Livestock Sale |
|
The Armstrong County Jr. Livestock Sale is
an annual event at the Dayton Fair to be held on Thursday,
August 20 in the steer arena at 6:30pm.
Market livestock
projects shown earlier in the week are sold at this sale and
include hogs, goats, lambs, and steers. Also featured is a
cheese auction made from milk from the Supreme Champion Dairy
female to benefit the 4-H Development Fund.
The sale is held to
benefit the youth 4-H and FFA members that are selling the
livestock they’ve raised. Purchases made at this sale provide
quality meat for bidders and financial support for youth growing
in agriculture, most with hopes of going on to further schooling
in the future.
Your support furthers
the growth of agriculture and facilitates friendships with these
youth. Through their experiences, these exhibitors grow socially
in the interactions with potential buyers year after year.
Your investments at
this sale support the growth of youth interested in agriculture
while aiding in their personal and social growth. Please attend
the Armstrong County Jr. Livestock Sale to show your support for
youth and agriculture.

Jason Michael Carroll Concert
Saturday, August 21st
8:00pm

Jason Michael Carroll’s success is
evident in every note he sings – live or in the studio – and it lies in
his authenticity. Whether it’s the empathy brought to bear on the tragedy
of “Alyssa Lies,” the pure passion of “Livin’ Our Love Song” or the
youthful exuberance of “I Can Sleep When I’m Dead,” Carroll knows how to
connect with fans, and together with hard work, undeniable talent, and
good looks, that connection has launched one of country’s most impressive
young careers.
